A 11-year-old young lady from an English family who was shot dead while playing on a swing in her nursery in France has been named Solaine Thornton.
The family was having a grill on Saturday night while the shooting occurred in the town of Holy Person Herbot, north of Quimper in Brittany.
Her parents, Adrian and Rachel Thornton, were likewise harmed and are in the emergency clinic.
Her dad experienced serious wounds, as nearby media detailed.
The family was named by the city chairman of the cooperative where the family resided, Marguerite Bleuzen.

The young lady and her eight-year-old sister were playing on a swing as their folks tended the grill when a neighbour started discharging at them with a shotgun through a support.

Ms. Bleuzen, the city hall leader of the Plonévez-du-Faou community, said: “We realised the family well. There is a town fête consistently, and they generally come.
“Having shot a child is tremendous. Nobody can comprehend how that might have occurred.”
Regine Guillot, the secretary of the Plonevez-du-Faou municipal centre, said the town “is in shock”.
“There were neighbourhood issues, indeed, a support, a field, but just that, not that we knew about,” Guillot told Reuters.
A representative for the UK Unfamiliar, Federation, and Improvement Office said: “We are giving consular help to an English family following a shooting in France and are in touch with the neighborhood specialists.”
